Com2uS Holdings has announced the launch of its new sci-fi action RPG, ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD, now available on Android, iOS, and PC. The game first received a global early preview in May 2026, followed by pre-registration and confirmation of its Q3 launch in June 2026, and has officially made its way to mobile.
Fight to protect the solar system in ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD
So, ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD is finally here, and if you’re not aware, it puts you in the middle of a futuristic war where the Solar System is under threat. Set in in 3400 AD, the game builds its combat around two combat suits that you can switch between in real time, letting you blend different weapons and skills depending on how you want to approach each fight.
I like how the battles are designed to stay fast and fluid, with parries, perfect dodges, combos, and solid room to experiment with different setups. You can glide across battlefields on a hoverboard, pilot the Goliath mech, or take to the skies with the Valkyrie. You can also pick from classes including the Engineer, Warlord, Hunter, and Warlock, each with their own weapons and abilities.
Team up with friends for raids and boss battles
Beyond the solo experience, ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD features multiplayer co-op activities where you can team up with other players for raids, strike missions, Pilgrim Raids, and other challenges. For me, taking on tougher enemies and end-game bosses with a coordinated team looks like one of the more exciting parts of the game.
Overall, the game looks fun with its futuristic setting, real-time suit switching, console-inspired combat, large-scale battles, and focus on both solo and multiplayer action.
