Kuro Games‘ mysterious upcoming title Project Nami may have just taken another step toward becoming a fully revealed title, with a new report claiming the project has been registered under the name Burn Nor Blaze.
The information comes from the Chinese gaming community and remains unconfirmed for now, so this should be treated as a rumour rather than an official announcement from Kuro Games. Still, the reported registration has brought the project back into the spotlight.
Project Nami will be a multiplatform RPG experience
Project Nami has been on Kuro Games’ radar for some time, alongside Project Sun. The studio first revealed details about the project through recruitment information in June 2025, describing it as an action multiplayer online RPG being developed with Unreal Engine 5. It is planned for a global release across PC, console, and mobile.
Unlike Wuthering Waves, Project Nami is being developed as an original IP with a world built around machines and magic. Kuro’s recruitment material previously mentioned a setting featuring rune armour, giant weapons, and energy-powered machinery, alongside an apocalyptic world setting.
The project is also expected to put a strong emphasis on multiplayer action. Recruitment details have pointed towards unique characters with their own combat and mobility systems, with players potentially working together to take on powerful enemies.
Of course, there is still plenty we don’t know. Kuro Games has yet to officially reveal the game’s final title, gameplay, characters, release date, or even a proper trailer. The reported Burn Nor Blaze registration does not confirm that the game will launch globally under this name either.
However, considering Project Nami was already described as being in development more than a year ago, the reported registration has naturally sparked speculation that Kuro Games could be preparing to reveal more soon. Some community members are already wondering whether an announcement could arrive later this year, although there is currently no official indication of when that might happen.
