VR shooter Forefront adds Steam Frame support

Forefront is a multiplayer first-person shooter from Triangle Factory, and now they've upgraded it with support for Valve's Steam Frame.

What exactly is it? From the creators of Breachers and Hyper Dash, Forefront delivers an all-out war experience in VR. Engage in massive 32-player battles with cross-play across platforms, a variety of expansive maps, and semi-destructible environments, where strategy, skill, and teamwork decide the outcome.

This could be an interesting one for VR fans that want something like Battlefield, and Valve have rated it Steam Frame Verified - so it should be good to go in standalone mode with no streaming from a PC needed. It has Easy Anti-Cheat, as listed on our dedicated anti-cheat page which is enabled for Linux.

• Fixed player IK breaking when entering vehicles.
• Fixed an issue where two vehicles crashing into each other often resulted in only one of them being destroyed.

UI

• Reworked end-of-match progression screen.
• Updated main menu buttons.
• Moved Achievements to “Challenges” widget.
• Added a button to confirm Prestige before actually doing so.
• Added animated brackets to selected spawn UI.
• Added in-game cosmetic unlock UI.
• Added rewards UI under the “challenges” widget.
• Added main menu Mastery tab.
• Added Gun Mastery level in weapon select UI.
• Added news message carousel automatically moving to the next item after 9 seconds.
• Fixed UI layers rendering inside spawn beacon display.
• Fixed player name not updating in overview tab after renaming.

This is likely one I'll be happily testing out, as long as I manage to get onto the list for the Steam Frame to secure a unit for GamingOnLinux testing.
