Devir Apps has announced the launch of the beloved turn-based strategy title, The Red Cathedral, set for November 11, 2026 on Android, iOS, and PC. This digital adaptation of the award-winning board game, which has sold more than 100,000 physical copies, was first revealed back in May 2026, and we finally have a concrete release date to look forward to.

So, The Red Cathedral puts you in the shoes of an architect working on the construction of a grand cathedral ordered by Tsar Ivan the Terrible. Here, you’ll have to carefully manage resources, claim different sections of the monument, gather materials, and decorate your work while competing with other architects for prestige and the Tsar’s favour.
The game supports 1 to 4 players, giving you the option to take on the challenge alone or compete against friends and other players. The digital version also features local and online multiplayer with cross-platform support. That said, if you’re a solo player, you can test your skills against a dedicated AI with three difficulty levels.
